It all started about three years ago with a small camera drone, bought purely out of curiosity. It didn't take long before that felt too slow — I wanted to get closer, move faster, fly through spaces instead of just looking down at them.
FPV was the turning point for me. Off-the-shelf models quickly reached their limits, and it became clear: if I wanted the shots I had in mind, I had to build my own drones. So I taught myself to solder, programmed flight controllers, designed custom parts on a 3D printer and spent countless hours troubleshooting and refining builds.
My actual training is in CNC programming for metal machining — that precision mindset still helps me today, only now I work with carbon frames instead of steel.
Filmmaking came with the flying. Editing, colour grading and the feeling for the right moment followed bit by bit. What began as curiosity is AeroVision today.
